Osman, affectionately known as Ozzy, is more than just a chef—he is the driving force behind Pasha Turkish Grill’s success and authenticity. Hailing from Izmir, Turkey, Ozzy’s journey in the culinary world began at a young age, inspired by the vibrant markets, rich traditions, and familial meals of his hometown. Food was not just sustenance; it was a way of life, a cultural expression, and a passion that would shape his future.
Growing up in Izmir, Ozzy was surrounded by the flavours and aromas that define Turkish cuisine. He learned from the best—his family, local chefs, and the community around him. These early experiences sparked a lifelong dedication to creating dishes that stay true to his roots, honouring traditional Turkish techniques while embracing the freshest ingredients. Ozzy’s path led him through Europe and eventually to the UK, where he brought his love of Turkish food and his culinary expertise to Milton Keynes.
In 2016, Ozzy co-founded Pasha Turkish Grill with the goal of bringing an authentic taste of Turkey to Milton Keynes. From the outset, Ozzy’s vision was clear: he wanted Pasha to be more than just a restaurant. He aimed to create a welcoming space where guests could experience the same warmth, flavours, and hospitality found in Turkish homes. Ozzy’s meticulous attention to detail and his commitment to quality set Pasha apart, making it a beloved destination for food lovers in the area.
Ozzy’s dedication is evident in every aspect of Pasha, from the sourcing of the finest meats, cheeses, and fresh produce to the way dishes are prepared over traditional charcoal grills. His ethos is simple: never compromise on quality. He believes that the best ingredients lead to the best dishes, and this philosophy has earned Pasha multiple accolades, including the prestigious British Kebab Awards.
Ozzy’s menu is a direct reflection of his heritage. Ozzy’s latest addition, the Breakfast & Brunch Menu, is a personal project inspired by the breakfasts he enjoyed daily in Izmir. He wanted to recreate the authentic Turkish breakfast experience in Milton Keynes—a meal filled with bite-sized delights, fresh cheeses, homemade breads, and sweet jams. It’s a dining experience that can’t be found outside of Turkey, and Ozzy has worked tirelessly to ensure it’s as close to the real thing as possible.
